Blackberry, blackcurrant, a little truffle richness and gentle nutty oak influence. It’s medium-bodied, quite the blueberry and blackcurrant richness, a fine sooty sweep to tannin offering a gentle grainy grip, and really has quite the classic ripeness of good Yarra Cab. A gentle touch in the winery, and nicely done from a generally tricky vintage.
